Department of Education in Seoul, ChungCheongNam-do (ChungCheong South Province), ChungCheongBuk-do (ChungCheong North Province) and JeollaBuk-do (Jeolla North Province) are looking for 60 or more teachers from now to March 2009.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR MARCH SEMESTER

1) JeollaBuk-do Province Department of Education Public Schools Job Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00
Classroom Hours: 22 teaching hours per week, overtime a possibility
Vacation: 3to5 weeks(depending on school principal) + national holidays and additional 1 week home leave if you stay for a second year
Salary: 2,100,000 to 2,800,000 Korean won per month
Settlement Allowance: 300,000 Won
Severance Bonus: 1 month salary
School Type: Elementary, Middle and High School
Housing: non-shared housing supplied, schools pay rent, teachers cover util.
Airfare: round-trip supplied (Teachers pay for one way airfare to Korea and
are reimbursed during the first month. Teachers are then provided with a one
way ticket home at the end of the contract)
Start dates: December, March and April
Contract Length: 1 year with option to renew
Locations: various cities and towns throughout the province

Department of Education in Seoul and various cities all over Korea are looking for 31 teachers for December and 60 OR more before March. We want teachers who are very enthusiastic and confident, who are interested in Korean culture and who are passionate about their profession. Teaching experience is not necessary but helpful (those with teaching experience in Korea will be given priority), as is a responsible attitude toward overcoming cultural differences and a healthy work ethic.
